The South Shore UMC Food Pantry serves individuals living in the boundaries of 71st Street /North, 83rd Street/ South, Stony Island/West, and the Lake/East (Fridays, 5:00pm-7:00pm). The entrance to the building for this ministry is on the 74th street side of the building.

An official I.D. with current address must be presented at the time of entry.

Girl Scouts meet every 1st and 3rd Friday of the Month at 5:30pm; Cubs and Boy Scouts meet every Friday at 6:00pm

The Safe Haven After School or School Break Programs: Registration is required:  Call church office for more information. Most of these programs utilize our spacious gym—a big hit with the kids!
